
Would you walk away from a good investment property over a few hairline cracks? Most buyers do. We looked at a property where the inspection report flagged some surface cracks… the kind of thing a tube of silicone and an afternoon fixes. Other buyers read "cracks" on the report and moved on without looking any closer. We read the actual report, not just the summary. Cosmetic cracking isn't structural, and it's not a reason to let a good property go.
