Last week, I shared a lovely review from a client, but I wanted to share the story behind it.
They were a Melbourne couple moving to Geelong. They knew what they wanted, but were unfamiliar with the local market and finding little suitable online.
This is where strong local relationships matter.
On Friday afternoon, I was contacted about an off-market property. I knew their brief, what mattered, and that we needed to move quickly.
I inspected it Saturday morning. They viewed it that afternoon, we made an offer Sunday, and by Monday, they had their new home.
I also negotiated a price they were very happy with.
They later said, “Your knowledge and guidance was exceptional.”
Buying isn't simply about scrolling through listings. It's about knowing the market, building relationships, recognising opportunities, understanding value and knowing when to act.
If you're buying your first home or moving to Geelong, getting advice before you find the property can make all the difference.
