Tell me I’m not the only one who finds it slightly mind-boggling that we often make six or seven figure property decisions after spending only 30 minutes at an inspection (and in reality, it’s often even less than that).
Open homes can be crowded with other buyers, which means you’re sometimes rushing through the property just to get a look at each room. That “30 minute inspection” can quickly turn into 10 minutes of actually seeing the home properly.
Before you know it, the inspection is over and you’re told that offers close on Monday, or worse, in some cases, they close the very same afternoon.
That doesn’t leave a lot of time to carefully think through what is often one of the largest financial decisions you’ll ever make.
It’s no surprise that many buyers find the process stressful and overwhelming. There are a lot of moving parts involved in purchasing property and the pace of the market can sometimes make it feel like decisions have to be made quickly.
The key is preparation.
Buying property will always involve big decisions, but with the right preparation and support, it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.
That’s exactly what we aim to do at Investie. By doing the background work, analysing the numbers and helping buyers understand the risks and opportunities, we make it easier to move quickly when the right property comes along.
If you’re currently navigating the market and feeling the pressure of fast decision making, let’s have a chat about how we can help you approach the process with more clarity and confidence.
