By our map check, Bendigo Station sits on the boundary between Bendigo and Quarry Hill. The Department of Transport and Planning's timetable data lists trains there on the Bendigo - Melbourne, Echuca/Moama - Melbourne and Swan Hill - Melbourne routes, and, by our map check, local and regional bus routes stop in the suburb, among them routes from Bendigo Station.
Camp Hill Primary School and Bendigo Senior Secondary College, both on Gaol Road, have Department of Education addresses in Bendigo, and our map check places both in the suburb. By the same check, the Department gives a Bendigo address to schools outside the suburb, such as Spring Gully Primary School. Check the address against the school zone if you are counting on a place.

The report does not say which suburbs the group takes in, so the figure may not be the suburb's alone.
